Artemis Yachts, the motor boat sports cruiser brand designed and built by Jet Tern Marine, (the builders of the renowned Selene Long Range Ocean Trawlers), have appointed New Zealand company, World Yacht Brokers, as the local Artemis dealer. Renowned for advanced boat building, design and technology, JTM brings the same quality craftsmanship to Artemis Yachts that has been the hallmark of Selene since 2001. Over 350 luxury yachts have been built by JTM and the independent Selene brand accounts for 25% of the global market in long range cruise yachts. Now with branches in 17 countries JTM launches the Artemis brand in New Zealand. Since being released in 2010 over 30 Artemis Yachts have been built ranging from; 30’,43’, 48’, 56’, 70’& 82’. Each boat individually built to client’s specifications with interior wood choices of either Teak, Cherrywood or Black Walnut. Other standard specifications include; Teak & Holly floors. Marble or Corian galley & head counter tops, choice of interior fabrics & upholstery, Siemens appliances; fridge, microwave, stove. Sony TV, air conditioning, generator, integrated swim platform & boarding ladder, bow thruster. Mooring Kit includes; 4 x fenders, 4 x mooring lines, anchor, 100m chain, electric windlass. All included as standard in the price. Managing Director of World Yacht Brokers, David Woodley says the introduction of Artemis onto the New Zealand market gives buyers the opportunity to get the same quality finish as the Selene brand but now in a sports cruiser. “Selene have an enviable reputation for craftsmanship and despite a trend to displacement cruiser’s in recent years, there is still a huge audience for sports cruisers. The Free Trade Agreement now in effect also means that these boats are imported into New Zealand Duty Free”. Although Artemis models are essentially production boats, each boat is built to owners individual requirements to suit personal choices in interior woods, fabrics, counter tops and other design specifics. Estimated build time from date of order is approximately 10 months.
